From Bronx to Breaking Money Rules:
The Story Behind The Modern Savvy CPA
“Who says money talks can’t move mountains? As an immigrant’s daughter who went from counting pennies in the South Bronx to inspiring thousands as a financial mindset speaker, I learned that the secret to wealth isn’t just in the numbers – it’s in transforming how people think about money.
My financial education began at my father’s kitchen table, where I mastered the art of balancing his checkbook before I could reach the kitchen counter. That early start, combined with three decades as a CPA, evolved into something bigger: a calling to revolutionize how Americans think about and handle their money.
The Modern Savvy CPA wasn’t born in a boardroom – it emerged from countless moments of watching people’s eyes light up during my workshops and speaking engagements when they realized they could do more than just survive – they could thrive. Through dynamic presentations, interactive workshops, and transformative speaking events, I’m changing the money conversation one audience at a time.
My signature message is simple but powerful: “gratitude makes everything enough.” This mindset, paired with practical money management strategies, isn’t just theory – it’s the same approach that guided my journey from poverty to prosperity, and it’s what I now share from stages and training rooms across the country.
In a world where financial advice often comes from social media influencers who confuse followers with wisdom, The Modern Savvy CPA delivers something different: authentic inspiration backed by real-world expertise. Through our speaking engagements, workshops, and training programs, we’re teaching what I call the “moderation mentality” – the sweet spot between living for today and building for tomorrow.
Drawing from my journey from the Bronx to the spotlight, I’m more than a CPA – I’m a financial mindset transformer, inspiring audiences to reshape their relationship with money. Whether I’m keynoting a conference, leading a corporate workshop, or guiding an intimate training session, my mission remains the same: to strengthen America’s middle class through financial literacy and mindset transformation.
Every time I step on stage or lead a workshop, I help people discover that their financial story isn’t finished – it’s just getting to the good part. The Modern Savvy CPA isn’t just a speaking platform; it’s a movement toward financial empowerment, proving that with the right mindset, knowledge, and a dash of gratitude, anyone can write their own success story.
And the best part? When I’m speaking to an audience, whether it’s a room of fifty or five thousand, the message resonates: You don’t need to be good at math to be good with money. You just need to be ready to change your story.” – Sherron
